I didn't need to wait until I was an expert to get cooking. My expertise came from starting as a novice and failing forward, after countless attempts until eventually I succeeded.

It's amazing how food memories triggered by smell or sight or taste can conjure the deepest remembrances. Did you know taste and smell are closely linked to memory? The olfactory system, responsible for smell, is closely connected to the brain's limbic system, which is associated with emotions and memories.
